ANDEE'S ARMY & SHEPHERD CENTER
In addition to our Patient Assistance Grant Program, Andee's Army works to identify critical gaps in service and unmet needs, and launch special initiatives to create innovative solutions for children and adolescents living with brain and spinal cord injuries.
HALLOWEEN HAUNTED GYM
AT SHEPHERD CENTER
Living fully in the wake of a brain or spinal cord injury requires that each patient find their "new normal." In an effort to encourage this rediscovery of what normal means for our patients, Andee's Army sponsors several social events at Shepherd Center, including their annual Haunted Gym. Each adolescent patient is invited to help design and execute this wonderfully terrifying haunted house.
PROM NIGHT
AT SHEPHERD CENTER
Our vision is to create a community where every child and youth lives fully in the wake of brain and spinal cord injuries. To that end, Andee's Army is proud to sponsor the Comfort and Care program at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta. This annually funded program allows parents and patients to access free and much-needed sustenance throughout the day, 365-days-per-year.
ANDEE'S ADVENTURES
AT SHEPHERD CENTER
In 2019 Andee's Army and Shepherd Center partnered to launch Andee's Adventures - a patient outing program designed to inspire and engage adolescent patients at Shepherd Center. Our first outing was to Stone Mountain to play in the snow and it was pure MAGIC!
